In Year 3, our new writing focus is a short narrative or part of a story. So, to help make sure we can do the best job possible, we have been working together to unpick a model text and to spot all the features that could help us write the best narrative … ever! We found lots of examples of punctuation, different sentence structures and examples of imagery to help the writer’s description of the setting and the character. We all enjoyed reading the example text as it was exciting and interesting, and now we can’t wait to get started on creating our own!
