Today in Class 5, we have been exploring our new book ‘Blown Away’. The children were asked to make predictions from looking at the front cover and answering
the thought bubbles in groups.

After the children had made these predictions, they were asked to highlight any words which they did not know the meaning of (maiden and Penguin Blue to name
two).

Finally, the children were asked to draw an image from looking at the opening sentence. The children produced some fantastic drawings of the penguin flying
his kite!
